- I am lucky to be a stay at home Mom to 5 kids ranging from 11-24, and also have a very supportive husband, that encourages me in everything I do. My love of sewing and anything crafty began at age 10, when I took my first sewing class at the Singer store on Broad Street in Augusta, Georgia. I eventually got my first sewing machine for my 16th birthday. I have enjoyed machine quilting, sewing and smocking most all of my girls dresses when they were little and making all kinds of draperies and bed coverings. I purchased my first embroidery machine 10 years ago and have not looked back. Now I have my dream machine and am enjoying every minute of it!! I love creating beautiful gift items and welcome a challenge. I look forward to helping you create that special gift or keepsake.
